The Fincentrum Group, one of the leading financial consultancies in the Czech Republic, has become the general partner of regional football competitions organised by Českomoravský fotbalový svaz [ČMFS] beginning this 2010/2011 season. Regional contests will henceforth be called “Fincentrum Regional Contest”.
In the first six months of 2010 the Fincentrum Group confirmed their leading position in the market of financial consultancy services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Interannually, the Group’s global revenues grew by 82%, to more than 392m crowns, the number of concluded contracts doubled to more than 67 thousand.
The decline of interest rates of domestic mortgage loans is not drawing to an end. The overall index FINCENTRUM HYPOINDEX plummeted in the course of one month by almost two tenths of the percentage point. The average interest rate of mortgages with a five-year fixation dropped even down to the level of 5.08%. The volume of mortgages contracted increased interannually for the first time from the beginning of this year.

The Fincentrum Group celebrated the 10th anniversary of its establishment yesterday. Despite economic recession and keen competitive pressure in the first quarter of this year the Group’s income from commissions increased by 76% y/y to CZK 158 million in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. For the full year 2009, Fincentrum reports sales of CZK 502 million (up by 52% y/y).
Last week Fincentrum opened new offices of their headquarters in Bratislava, continuing thus in successful expansion. The new Slovak branch is located in the newly opened block of the Apollo Business Centre.
Despite the economic recession, the Fincentrum Group increased its turnover in the Czech Republic and Slovakia by 52% y/y in 2009. Its full-year income amounted to CZK 502 million (as against CZK 330 million in 2008). The Group’s turnover is expected to exceed CZK 750 million in 2010.
